Celebrating The life of Grace Muvoye Mati

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Grace Muvoye Mati, which occurred on Friday, 8th April, 2022. Wife of Jacob Mati, she is survived by her children Serah Mutheu, Naomi Kalunde, Phoeby Mwende, Job Mati and Joan Kavinya and by her grandchildren Santana Rivas Mati and Malia Rivas Mati.

Mother-in-law of Rodolfo Rivas. She was daughter of the late Mwalimu John Mbevi and the late Phoebe Kalunde Mbevi. Sister of the late Paul Mbevi, James Mbevi, Zakayo Mbevi, Dorothy Mbithi, Beatrice Makau, Serah Wambua, William Mbevi, David Mbevi and Jonah Mbevi. Sister-in-law of the Late Frederick Mati, the late Samuel Mwinzi, Naomi Kavyu and Prof. Japheth Mati. The cortège leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 21st April, 2022 for a funeral and burial service starting promptly at 10:00 a.m. at her home in Muuluko, Mwingi.
